We Are Committed to Sustainability.

For us, this is not just a one-off task or an empty phrase, but a lasting, responsible way of working and living. We aim to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible and are committed to getting ever closer to this goal. To continue offering effective solutions without limiting the opportunities for future generations, we are constantly improving our approach.

We are proud to have been a participant in the UN Global Compact since 2024. The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest and most important initiative for sustainable and responsible business practices. The UN Global Compact Network Germany (UN GCD) supports companies in strategically embedding sustainability on the basis of ten universal principles and in contributing to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

By taking part, we are committing ourselves to thinking even more about the future – and we’re happy to do so.

Our Areas of Focus

Greenhouse Gas Emissions

The ongoing reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is important to us. One way in which we contribute to this is by using public transport for business travel whenever possible. We also reduce the need for commuting by offering our staff the option to work from home.

Waste Management

When it comes to preventing and reducing waste, our main focus is on paper usage and electronic waste. In particular, through changes to our accounting processes, we aim to reduce paper usage to a minimum by 2030. 100% of the electronic waste we generate is recycled.

Employee Health

The health and safety of our staff are of the utmost importance to us. We therefore place great emphasis on ensuring that our workstations and working environment are ergonomically designed. As part of our occupational health management programme, we offer training on a range of topics, which is delivered to teams or, where required, to individuals.

Staff Development

Providing excellent working conditions for our staff is of great importance to us. We see this not only as an ethical obligation, but also as an economic necessity for attracting and retaining qualified staff.

Diversity

We are committed to recruiting and promoting staff on the basis of their skills, qualifications and experience, without any form of discrimination. No one in our company should be discriminated against or treated less favourably on the grounds of religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, skin colour, ethnic or national origin, disability or age.

Working From Home

Personal interaction and direct collaboration are of great importance to us in maintaining and fostering a sense of community, the exchange of knowledge and team dynamics. We therefore consider regular attendance at the office to be important, whilst at the same time allowing our staff flexibility in how they organise their work by offering a home-working quota.

Compliance

Poolarserver GmbH is committed to adhering to standard compliance rules derived from legislation and ethical principles. We ensure that integrity and transparency are upheld, particularly in procurement and sales, and that conflicts of interest are avoided.
