Construction Succeeds When Collaboration Succeeds
Our Vision Is Seamless Collaboration on Construction Projects. Digital Tools Enable All Those Involved to Make the Most of Their Individual Skills and Work Together to Achieve Remarkable Results.
What Drives Us
Our Task Is to Establish Structured Information Flows Within the Construction Industry and to Design Digital Work Processes in Order to Improve Communication and Collaboration Amongst All Those Involved.
What We Do
With Poolar, we develop collaboration software that organises information and workflows, making day-to-day life on construction sites and in offices easier.
It brings clarity to complex processes, makes content accessible and ensures that decisions remain transparent.
We do not view software as an isolated tool. We provide personalised advice to our clients, offer expert support throughout projects and continue to develop our solutions based on practical experience.

What Comes of it
This approach has given rise to a digital construction platform that brings together planning and execution and makes day-to-day collaboration on projects noticeably easier.
Poolar is aimed at individuals and organisations who want to work together to drive construction projects forward: clients, project managers, architects, engineers and construction companies.
Poolar.Project
As a CDE platform for construction projects, Poolar.Project supports digital collaboration amongst all project members. Plans, documents, tasks and key construction processes are consolidated within a secure project workspace.

Facts About Poolar
Why We Can Do This
Poolar was founded in 2007 by Klaus Schwägerl, a graduate engineer and architect, and Matthias Friedle, a doctor of engineering. Both were familiar with the challenges faced in construction projects from their own professional experience and were looking for a high-quality, user-friendly software solution to facilitate collaboration between teams.
And that’s how Poolar came about – flexible, easy to understand and designed so that everyone involved can use it, even without any training.
In the two decades since the company was founded, digitalisation has fundamentally transformed the construction industry. Mobile devices have become the norm, and methods such as BIM have also changed the way projects are planned, managed and documented.
Poolar has supported this transformation and played an active role in shaping it.

In-House Software Development
Around 30% of the team work directly on development. This close involvement with the product enables us to refine existing features in a targeted manner, respond quickly to requirements from projects and embrace new technological developments.
At the same time, our responsibility does not end with the software.

Close to the Customer. Deeply Involved in the Projects.
More than half of our team is in direct contact with customers and users on a daily basis. This enables us to combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of real-world construction processes – from consultancy and day-to-day operations right through to support during day-to-day project work. Because we handle operations and support entirely in-house, the platform remains closely aligned with practical needs and is reliable in use.
