Poolar
the New Brand From Poolarserver

After almost 20 years of growth, the time had come for us to reorganise our brand and product range.

Under the name ‘Poolar’, we will be bringing our product lines together under a single brand in future.

Poolarserver GmbH and the team behind it will, of course, remain your existing point of contact.

First Things First

The company remains the same. Poolar.Project and Poolar.Office remain the same robust products you know and use. The teams you work with also remain the same: experienced, reliable and closely involved with your projects.

Many of our customers have simply been calling us ‘Poolar’ for years anyway. That’s exactly where we’re now officially returning to: with a new brand, a new logo, the new domain poolar.com, updated spellings, fresh colours, a new website, a revamped login page and many other elements.

In short: in terms of content, what works stays the same. What belongs together becomes clear.

A new brand is created from many elements

Individual Brands, Styles and Visual Identities Are Brought Together Under the New Brand, Shaped by Our Core Principles: Simplicity, Clarity and the Elimination of the Superfluous.

This enables us to provide clearer guidance, a more consistent user experience and greater brand recognition across all touchpoints.

Our Design Approach:
Back to the Roots

With our new brand identity, we are pursuing a clear design philosophy: a return to what really matters. Away from unnecessary complexity. Towards greater simplicity, clarity and structure – qualities that many customers and partners value in our products.

The new design brings clarity to an area where, previously, many individual elements were arranged side by side. Colours, shapes, typography and user interfaces will now follow a common logic. This creates a calmer, more intuitive look and feel – and makes everyday use more intuitive.

In essence, this means: less complexity, better guidance and greater clarity.

New Visual Worlds

On our websites and in other media, you will come across recognisable, AI-generated characters.

They put a face to key project members in the construction project and highlight the typical roles, situations and areas of application for our solutions.

This makes it clear at a glance who Poolar.Project and Poolar.Office are designed for, where they are used in day-to-day project work, and what benefits they offer in that context.

Outlook 2026+

The rebranding creates a new visual identity and is, at the same time, an important step towards a more consistent, modern and clearly structured product range.

We’re starting with visible changes such as the new login page and the new app. These already show the direction in which the user experience is heading: more clearly structured, with a minimalist design and easier to use.

Behind the scenes, a new design system is being developed, featuring a central component library. Recurring elements, layouts and interactions will in future follow a common logic.

Step by step, a product range is emerging that is becoming more integrated, provides guidance and is easier to use in everyday life.

Our Creative Partners

AN® supported Poolar in developing its new brand, from naming and domain strategy through to positioning and brand experience, right through to UX, the design system and the website.

Together, we created a cohesive digital platform that brings together the brand, the product and user needs, and makes complex project work more accessible through clear structures and intuitive user guidance.

Open Wonder supported the project in developing AI-powered personas and audience models for the platform’s various areas of application.

Drawing on brand intelligence, target audience analysis and AI-supported persona development, realistic user profiles were created, which served as the basis for content strategy, information architecture and user journeys. This enabled content, features and use cases to be tailored specifically to the needs of different user groups.

The personas developed bring the Poolar platform to life and use specific scenarios to demonstrate how digital collaboration in architecture, engineering and construction projects can be made more efficient. Furthermore, the personas help to ensure consistent brand communication across the website and digital touchpoints.

Florian Fischer was responsible for the technical implementation of Poolar’s new multilingual WordPress website – based on the design by AN®. Among other things, this involved the creation of custom Gutenberg blocks, bespoke plugins and an automated import function for projects and clients.

The result was a technically sound and easy-to-maintain website that Poolar can continue to develop flexibly over the long term.
